Industrial development of land generally includes premises used for the manufacturing, production, assembling, repairing, processing, recycling, servicing of goods or articles for commercial purposes. It also involves storage and transportation activities. Most industrial activity and buildings require development approval from council prior to the work being undertaken (or the operation of the business).
We can advise on and facilitate any approvals that may be required, with experience in comprehensive industrial proposals. Some development may be undertaken as complying development under a Complying Development Certificate (CDC) which we can arrange.
There are a wide range of industrial development proposals that Metro Planning Services has been involved with including warehouses, factories, recycling and waste processing facilities, and change of use.
